Research and Development is one of the most important parts
important parts of creating a collection. Product Development Managers, or PDMs as we call them, are the people who are responsible for monitoring the development of the pieces in the collection .
Sandrine, Emilie and Chloé are involved from the creation of the stylists' sketches, to the reception of the prototypes, including the definition of the size grid. They are the ones who will be in contact with the suppliers of raw materials, accessories and finished products, and who will ensure the quality of the chosen fabrics . We choose exceptional raw materials, produced in France or in nearby Europe, and labeled for the majority of them.
The RDPs will also manage the production of the products , as well as the transport with the freight forwarder so that the pieces are received in store on time. In short, they are fully involved in the well-being of the collection, so that the pieces combine style, comfort, and responsibility .
On the knitwear side, the Knitwear Purchasing and Production Manager will manage the entire production of our French knitwear line . As a reminder, today, we produce nearly 40% of our knitwear line in our historic workshops , at Coteau
Virginie , our Production Manager, therefore draws up the knitters' schedule, manages the production of the mesh panels, and will supply the French and European manufacturers with whom we work for the production of the pieces. She is also involved in the choice of yarns and their purchase, yarns which mainly come from Italian spinning mills , as well as in setting up the colorings , and the choice of prints with Séverine.
